Color Formula Vault is a colour formula record for hair stylists. Every client, every visit, every mix — in one place, on your phone, at the chair.
Why we built it
Colour formulas live in the worst possible places: a battered notebook, the back of an appointment card, a note app, or a stylist’s memory. Then the notebook goes missing, or a client comes back after eight months and asks for “the same as last time”. Color Formula Vault is that notebook, rebuilt so it can’t be lost.
What the App does
- Client profiles — hair type, porosity, contact details, and notes, with the full colour history underneath.
- Complete formulas — brand, shade, quantity, developer volume, mix ratio, processing time, toner, and your own notes.
- Before and after photos — attached to the visit they belong to, so the formula and the result stay together.
- A mixing calculator that works in grams, ounces, or millilitres, and scales a formula up or down without the mental arithmetic.
- Service and appointment details — cost of service and the next appointment, recorded with the visit.
- Sync and backup — your records are stored securely and restored when you get a new phone.
What we believe

- Speed matters at the chair. Logging a formula should take seconds, not a form with twenty fields.
- Nothing gets lost. Deleted by accident is recoverable; changed phones is not a disaster.
